BAHLP, Bienestar Adult Healthy Lifestyle Program is an evidence-based health program aimed at reducing obesity. The program consists of 22 sessions in a calendar year with the following weekly key tasks to be performed by each client. The client will self-monitor: weight, physical activity, and dietary intake. Each client will build confidence and self-efficacy as they achieve weekly successes in weight reduction, gains in cardio-respiratory fitness, and the ability to make healthy food choices both at home and in restaurants.
